FRCode Academy

Chantilly, VA, November 19th, 2025. Chantilly Robotics creates a new YouTube channel designed to teach new programming subteam members essential coding skills. The channel provides clear, structured tutorials that help new students understand important concepts and become confident contributors to the robot development process.

The channel is a useful learning tool for new and learning members on the programming subteam. Students' engagement and understanding increases as they revisit videos at home and learn independently. The content in the videos align with current FRC game demands and helps with rapid onboarding for the 2025 season, as new members can now reference high-quality explanations anytime, reducing the need for in-person help.

“We created the channel so new programmers can learn without feeling overwhelmed,” said Victor Moldoveanu, one of the programming subteam leads managing the resource. “This allows them to study at home, and they don’t need in-person explanations, which they can use to help teach themselves.”

The programming team has released a couple of videos so far and are producing more. All new programming members use the channel, and programming lead Moldoveanu reports that many would struggle to complete vital tasks without these tutorials. As the channel's resources expand, viewers can expect more advanced topics, improved guidance, and ongoing support for self-directed learning.
