CHANTILLY, VA, OCTOBER 16th, 2025. Last Friday, Team 612 proudly served up breakfast in the annual Taste of Chantilly event, bringing their signature energy, while selling plenty of pancakes and waffles to the community. While the team didn’t reach the profit goals they hoped for, the event proved to be a valuable learning experience and an incredible opportunity to connect with local residents and supporters.
Throughout the evening, team members worked together to sell fresh morning favorites, engage with guests, and share information about their robotics program and upcoming projects. More than just a fundraiser, Taste of Chantilly reminded the team of the importance of teamwork, outreach, and community connection.
“Even though we didn’t make as much as we planned, we gained something even more important, experience,” said marketing captain Shloka Bana. “We learned how to better organize, market, and connect with people, which will help us improve for our next event.”
Team 612 is grateful for the support of everyone who stopped by their booth and is looking forward to using this experience to grow and make their next event even better.
